Contact, Zoeftig’s innovative seating solution, has been awarded an iF DESIGN AWARD 2020 for its modular nature and clever mounted design.
As a globally recognised symbol for outstanding design achievements for 67 years, the iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design prizes in the world.
For this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD 2020, designers, architects, agencies and companies from 56 nations, submitted a total of 7,298 entries across a range of disciplines. The 78-member jury, consisting of design experts from more than 20 countries, selected Contact, Zoeftig’s stylish seating solution, as a winner in the Product discipline.
Designed with simplicity in mind, Contact can easily create a contemporary and stylish waiting area that is both practical and comfortable for visitors. Not only can it be installed and reconfigured to meet the evolving needs of terminals and waiting areas, but it can also be arranged in a number of back-to-back configurations, with the use of a simple linking bar.
As an affordable public seating system, engineered to use less material, without compromising on quality, aesthetics or comfort, Contact is now firmly established as a favourite within the industry.
Paul Williams, CEO of Zoeftig, said: “We’re delighted that Contact has won a prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2020 as it highlights the innovation in design, engineering and efficiency that Contact offers. We would like to thank all the design experts who voted for our product and congratulate the other winners for their well-deserved award wins.”
