Muara Angke Port is the only port of the Jakarta administration that serves residents from mainland Jakarta to the Seribu Islands, making it invaluable to both residents and tourists. The port underwent a major revitalisation in the summer of 2022 and the Zoeftig team were delighted to lend our expertise.

The port revamp was needed to reflect the requirements and standards of today’s modern traveller, with passenger comfort as a critical consideration. To meet these high standards, the team supplied and installed a total of 900 inFINITE seats for the port’s in line with the new concept and standard of Indonesian port.

The government of Indonesia introduced a new concept of Indonesian ports that started by building 4 ports in a different part of Indonesia as a pilot project. One of these is Muara Angke Port. The new concept brings a modern layout, passenger comfort, efficiency, and decent and modern facilities as a standard. This concept and standards will be applied to any new ports that will be built in Indonesia.

We provided three different seat configurations to meet the specific requirements of Muara Angke Port; inFINITE Linear, in straight rows; inFINITE Arc, in curved rows, and inFINITE Solo, in three seat clusters. Featuring our own specially developed Z-form polyurethane and Dura-Z injection moulded structural components, inFINITE takes resilience and durability to new heights. It delivers the highest standards of ergonomics and is exceptionally easy to clean, allowing the seats to withstand high passenger traffic-flow with ease.

Situated on two hectares of land, Muara Angke Port has been updated and equipped with various facilities to create a sense of comfort for passengers. As well as the air conditioned waiting room, the port now includes a large parking area, canteen, food court and garden, to serve a capacity of up to 2,040 passengers.
